I'm currently a PhD student at the Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes (CSPO) at Arizona State University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Knowledge Integration in 2012, and was honored to receive the Alumni Gold Medal. Knowledge Integration is an incredible interdisciplinary undergraduate degree, offered only at the University of Waterloo. During my time there, I got to do a bunch of exciting things, including present my research at several conferences around the globe.
Giving back to community - both local and global - is important to me. I've been excited to serve on the board of directors for the DaCapo Chamber Choir and support great musicians like Patrick Murray. Murray and I also co-founded the Waterloo Regional Student Music Council, born out of a hugely successful project to save our local symphony. I'm a Deputy Chief with the Student EMS at Arizona State, and have been the coordinator for the Campus Response Team at the University of Waterloo, and had a great time developing a model response organization.
